Inheritance law
In cooperation with our clients, HOECK SCHLÜTER VAAGT deals with all issues related to inheritance law - be it making provisions for one’s own death, be it the assertion of claims if a case of inheritance has already occurred, but of course also making precautionary plans for the business success and transfer to the successors.
Our legal advice and structuring includes planning asset succession in the interest of our clients based on a long-term concept. This does not only involve the formulation of wills and testaments and inheritance contracts for senior citizens. We in particular also advise energetic entrepreneurs in their prime, for example by drawing up death clauses in partnership agreements, transfer contracts, in cases of anticipated succession, by drawing up wills and testaments for businesses and wills and testaments for patchwork families.
However, inheritance law is another field where we can do more than just drawing up agreements and contracts. Should a dispute arise, for example in relation to inheritance claims, compulsory portion, certificate of inheritance, distribution among heirs, claim for the return of gifts and contestation of wills and testaments, we also assist and support our clients in these cases. However, whatever the degree to which our clients are personally affected by inheritance disputes: it is a matter of course for us that we always dispute objectively whether out of court or in court.
