Company law/Commercial law
Corporate and company law has for decades been part of HOECK SCHLÜTER VAAGT’s core competence. We advise in all company law issues - from start-ups, via restructuring corporate structures, up to preparing and supporting shareholder’s meetings and general meetings as well as Joint Ventures at home and abroad. This also includes giving advice and support to investors in case of company takeovers.
In addition, we advise our clients in all issues relating to commercial law and on all forms of sales and distribution, such as the right of commercial agents and authorised dealers, franchise law and direct sales. The main focus of our work includes advising our clients in choosing the right form of distribution and contract design including contract negotiations with the respective contracting partner. Of course we conduct all lawsuits in connection with the distribution law before national courts, which includes both civil as well arbitration courts.
HOECK SCHLÜTER VAAGT also pursues an integrated approach in respect of company law: anybody who advises, must also be able to stand his or her ground before court. This means that we always provide our clients with forward looking advice to ensure that they know in advance what might happen in the event of dispute.
